Whitton Lodge, is a 400 year old luxury/peaceful small family, friendly, owned countryside bed and breakfast / Home. Close to Chesterfield, and overlooking Harwick hall in Derbyshire also close enough for M1 access. New in April 2007 totally re modernised It has fabulous Free membership to our facilities including a heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna, gym and a games room with full size snooker table and free Wi-Fi connection. The bed and breakfast is inclusive of the price. We are wheelchair friendly and there is a double room at our Derbyshire home with facilities for the disabled. There is also beautician available for pedicure, hairdressing or a relaxing massage. Beautician must be booked in advance please. New August 2008 hot tub why not pre book an hour in our new tub total relaxation for £10 for an hour for two get your hour slot booked and bring the champagne for a romantic treat. Please be aware if payment is to be made by credit card there is a 2.5% bank charge payable.

This renowned historic manor house enjoys a tranquil and picturesque location with scenic walks and spectacular views within minutes of the hotel.Riber Hall is elegantly furnished throughout with period furniture and is renowned for its charm with an intimate and romantic atmosphere.Situated high on a hill above Matlock, neighbouring Riber Castle, Riber Hall dates from the 15th Century.The intimate accommodation around the courtyard and in the old hall features mainly antique four poster beds, whirlpool baths with many thoughtful extras.The tranquil old walled garden and orchard alone, with conservatory, is worth a visit and enjoys plentiful and diverse bird life including many rare species.Carsington Water with its views and water sports is only 10 minutes away. Excellent walks across spectacular countryside can be enjoyed directly from the hotel.

Nesfield Cottage's idyllic location offers peace, tranquillity and fresh air away from the noise and bustle of the city. Our cottage is surrounded by the rolling Derbyshire countryside - a paradise for walkers and cyclists! Chatsworth House is a short (10 minute) drive away as is Bolsover Castle, Renishaw Hall and Hardwick Hall. Sheffield, Meadowhall, Chesterfield and Bakewell are also easily accessible. Our rooms are all tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and luxuriously large with generous en-suites and inspiring countryside views. Hospitality trays include bottled water and fruit juices as well as snacks. Home-made bread is served at breakfast, free-range eggs and locally sourced bacon and sausage are also on the menu. Other facilities include pre-ordering of newspapers and packed lunches. The rate shown includes our full breakfast menu (with the full English) but, if you prefer, you can have a lighter/buffet -style breakfast @ £66prpn or just room only at £56prpn (payable in advance).
